The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is holding a Fall Prevention Stand-Down throughout the United States. The Stand-Down will occur between May 8 and May 12, 2017. According to Safety BLR, OSHA indicates that the event is meant to provide “an opportunity for employers to have a conversation with employees about hazards, protective methods, and the company’s safety policies and goals.”
Events aimed at raising awareness about workplace falls are very important, because falls remain a leading cause of work injuries– especially in the field of construction.
